Authors’ Tale published its first anthology, Once Upon a Wednesday, March 15, 2017. It is available in paperback, e-book, and hardcover. Find it in the AT bookstore, through Amazon, B&N, or Createspace.
We will publish our second anthology, Heart of a Child, March 25, 2018. If you’d like to take part in this event, check back with us and we’ll have a link for you soon!
The third anthology, Ink Dreams, is set to publish in 2019. Submissions open June 1 and close September 1. Writers who opt-in for the short story workshop will take part in the month-long event, which occurs throughout September. Judging begins in October.
Any editor feedback will be received after judging is completed and results are finalized.
Each submission has a $5 entry fee, including a 2.9% sales charge for online payments. This fee does not include editor feedback if the author requests it. That is an additional charge.
The workshop is free. Not participating in the workshop does not remove the fee from your entry.
All money from fees goes toward ISBN numbers for this anthology, as well as for future anthologies.
All profits from book sales go to a designated organization or charity, which is decided before the publication is released. This year’s anthology, Ink Dreams, will give all profits to Authors’ Tale, because while your community leaders love to serve you, it’s pricey, and we are hoping that this year, we can benefit the community itself with the talents y’all have shared with others for the past two years. If you have additional questions or reservations, please read this FAQ page.
